At Infinity Fitness, we try to provide an environment that is safe, welcoming, challenging but never intimidating.

We make a great effort to ensure we know, at a minimum, everyone’s name, conditioning level, injury history, and preferred instruction style.  You may not know anyone in the class but you will know the trainer, and the trainer will know you.

Our goal is to give you the most challenging workout that you can safely complete.

Everyone you will see in our gym was a first timer at Infinity Fitness.  Everyone was once nervous before class.  You find quickly that no one is here to do anything but work hard and get better.  We keep things as fun and light as we can.  No reason exercise can be fun.

We administer workouts that include strength training, high-intensity cardiovascular work, core stability development, mobility and much more.

You will definitely be asked to do things you have not done before.   But, never without the education, supervision, modification or motivation required to get complete your workout.

Who we are

Founded in 2011, Infinity Fitness began offering a style of group training classes that could not be found anywhere else at the time.

Infinity Fitness is rooted in functional fitness and general wellness. We work to expose our clients to the various benefits associated with a consistent fitness regimen, sound nutrition, and proper recovery.

Since our founding, we have provided a brand of fitness training that is accessible to all.

Our goal is to serve everyone as an individual whether they are one-on-one or in a group.

Infinity Fitness will help you determine what your current physical capabilities are and what they can be with consistent work and effort. From there, our goal is to demonstrate how dedication and education can close that gap!

Zach has worked tirelessly over the last ten years to become one of the top trainers in Darien, CT.

Assuming ownership of Infinity Fitness in 2018, Zach immediately added high-end equipment and implemented research-backed exercise programming to deliver the best fitness product in the area.

Zach earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology & Exercise Science at Cortland State University. While at Cortland, he was an impactful player for the Red Dragons’ Men’s Ice Hockey Team. During school, Zach held strength & conditioning internships for Syracuse University and World Extreme Cagefighting.  Zach also played soccer and lacrosse in high school.

Zach holds certifications in: 

  • Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (NSCA)
  • Sports Massage Therapy (Cortiva Institute)
  • CPR-AED (American Red Cross)

Zach lives in Trumbull, CT with his wife & dog.  He enjoys watching the Giants, Lebron James, and true crime documentaries.  Zach is also not a stranger to an ice-cold Double IPA.

Jack O’Malley

Jack is a fitness enthusiast turned pro. After a long career in corporate sales, Jack pursued his passion for working in health and nutrition.

Jack earned a Bachelor’s in Finance at Manhattan College. While earning his degree, he played midfield for the Division 1 Jaspers’ Men’s Lacrosse Team. He played lacrosse & football for Notre-Dame Fairfield prior to that.

Jack has coached numerous youth lacrosse teams over the years. Currently, he coaches with Darien Youth Lacrosse.

Jack holds certifications in:

  • CPR-AED (American Red Cross)

Jack lives in Fairfield with his wife, daughter & two dogs. He enjoys the Dallas Cowboys, NCAA Lacrosse & documentaries. Jack is obsessed with high-quality sleep and any good health tip.


Troy Vasilescu

Troy is at the beginning of a long and successful career in the fitness industry. His combination of tireless energy and advanced fitness knowledge makes for a high-end trainer experience.

Troy graduated from Central Connecticut State University with a degree in Kinesiology / Exercise Science.

Troy was a middle linebacker for CCSU’s Blue Devil Football team, winning a Northeastern Conference Championship and participating in D1 FCS Playoffs in 2017. Troy also played football and lacrosse at Shelton High School.

Troy held internships at Quinnipiac University and Mike Boyle Strength & Conditioning, one of the most elite athletic performance gyms in the country.

Troy’s certifications include:

Troy lives in Shelton and is a huge Oakland Raiders fan, Infinity’s resident car guy and hype man. Troy eats a homemade granola bar every single day and enjoys reading, listening to podcasts, and hanging out with friends.

Vinnie Rissolo

Vinnie started his fitness journey early in life, picking up weightlifting and various sports in his teens. Being intrigued by the why behind the workouts and his love for helping others, he buried his head in learning and started writing programs for his friends. He continued to do so while pursuing his Economics & Marketing degrees at the University of Connecticut.

After spending 12 years in Advertising, he transitioned from student to teacher becoming a Certified Personal Training and joining the Infinity Fitness team in 2017. Beyond training, he has coached basketball in Norwalk, Westport & Darien for over 13 years.

He’s also a health nut, spending his life trying to optimize his own fitness and nutrition and impart that experience on others. When he’s not coaching or training, Vinnie is meal prepping, making recipes for comfort food with healthy ingredients. This led him to become a Certified Nutrition Coach through Precision Nutrition, providing meal plans, nutritional guidance, and habit development.

Vinnie holds certifications in:

  • Certified Personal Trainer (NASM)
  • Certified Nutrition Coach (Precision Nutrition)

Vinnie left Norwalk for Bethel with his wife, Kim, and two children, Chloe & William. He enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on the Knicks and Giants, and shooting hoops.

Infinity Fitness is located across the street from Noroton Heights train station, beneath Palmer’s Market in the heart of Darien.

Our facility provides all the equipment needed for a complete workout. Our training floor is outfitted with modern, clean equipment including:

  • Free Weights: barbells, dumbbells, and kettlebells
  • Cardio Machines: rowers, treadmills, assault bikes, ski ergometers, and sleds
  • 25-meter Turf Track
  • Other Fitness Tools: battle ropes, TRXs, resistance bands, exercise balls

We have locker rooms and showers available and ample parking for all members.
