As a Darien Personal Trainer that prides myself in getting my clients results fast and efficiently there are a few tips that I have all of my clients follow, one for their workouts, one for their nutrition and one for their lifestyle.
I’ve been a Darien Personal Trainer for over 6 years and in that time I have found that the people who follow these three things always get better, quicker results then those that do not:

It is extremely important that you perform resistance exercises with your entire body at least three times each week.
This will build muscle tone and strength and continually challenging the large muscle groups of your body will keep your metabolism up as it keeps building itself back as a stronger version.
Darien Personal Trainer Nutrition Tip:
Limit starch and grain based carbs to early in the day on days when you do resistance training.
This one is so important! Carbohydrates are used as fuel for your body, and simple carbs (foods such as bread, pasta, white rice, potatoes, etc) are broken down quickly into sugar.
Keeping those carbs for times when your body needs to recover from your full body workouts and having vegetables, lean protein and small amounts of fruits, nuts and oils will keep you healthy and lean.
Darien Personal Trainer Lifestyle Tip:
Your body will look, feel and perform better when it gets proper amounts of rest.
Most heathy people need between 7 and 8 hours of sleep each night. If you are getting less than this it will affect hormone levels, metabolism, recovery time between workouts, mental clarity and focus.
You need to get your sleep!
Bonus Darien Personal Trainer Lifestyle Tip:
Turn off the TV.
Studies show that there is a relationship between obesity rates and financial success that is inversely proportional to the amount of TV watched each week.
So if you want to be successful, productive, lean and healthy … turn off that TV!
