At Infinity Fitness we are lucky to have awesome clients that really push themselves at each of their workouts.
This is how we get them the awesome results that we’re known for.
If you’re one of our great clients then you know that after a particularly hard workout or perhaps right when you’re starting out there is a good chance that you will be sore the following day and most likely the following two days.
Now of course you want to get back to BootCamp and keep kicking butt and getting in awesome shape, but you can barely walk!
Here are some great tips to get you back up on your feet and ready for the next BootCamp workout at Infinity Fitness:
Going for a brisk walk the following day will help get blood flowing to the muscles and deliver nutrients that will rebuild them.
Static stretching can help a muscle repair itself. This is not the time to try to increase your flexibility though so don’t push too hard!
Making sure that you get plenty of water will keep recovery times as low as possible.
Muscles repair themselves while you rest. This means that getting enough sleep is very important. Your body is working much harder than its used to and needs adequate time to rest from the demands you are putting on it.
Also known as self myofasical release. A foam roller is a handy way to give yourself a cheap massage. By rolling on sore muscles you are increasing blood flow to the muscle and fascia and helping them repair themselves.
Get a Massage
This isn’t an option after every workout of course, but its good to have some massage work done at least once a month to keep your body in top shape.
Stick to these tips and you will keep your body and muscles in top shape so that you can avoid missing any unneeded time in BootCamp.
See you at the gym!
